two level city, upper level is mostly industrial with big machines called mako reactors sucking up the life energy of the planet. lower level are slums that are dirty and filthy but people still live there, they have some good elements that help them forget about their troubles like tifa's heaven (bar)

a small village where the hero and his friend tifa were born and raised. burned down from an attack of sephiroth but somehow rebuilt and people don't seem to know anything about the village burning down.

a ninja village where yuffie is originally from, very asian buildings of old, a lake passes through the town and the people are all like ninja's, very different ninjas.

Gold Saucer
a game area where people can relax and enjoy,for kids through adults. video games, chocobo(giant birds that can be ridden) betting, rollercosters, a play stage,battle arena, haunted hotel, and a lift to see the entire area (very romantic)

Cosmo Canyon
small village in the canyons, where people come to study about the universe and stuff. where redXIII came from, very spiritually feeling. The canyon has a beautiful color on the inside.
